The eVisitor visa is available to individuals who meet the following criteria:
Temporary Visit Intentions:
The applicant should have the intention to visit Australia for temporary purposes, specifically for tourism or business visitor activities.
Location:
Applicants must be outside Australia at the time of application.
Eligible Passport:
The individual must hold a passport that is eligible for an eVisitor visa.
Health Requirement:
Entry to Australia is contingent on being free from tuberculosis upon arrival
Criminal Record:
Applicants should not have been convicted of an offence or offences for which the total sentence is more than 12 months, whether or not the sentence has been served

The eVisitor visa is available to citizens holding passports from the following countries: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Republic of San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom – British Citizen (Individuals holding passports categorized as British National Overseas, British Dependent Territories Citizen, British Overseas Citizen, British Protected Person, or British Subject are not eligible to apply for the eVisitor visa.), Vatican City.
Health Requirements
Meeting specific health requirements is imperative for obtaining the eVisitor visa. Individuals with active tuberculosis may face restrictions on entering Australia. Additionally, it’s crucial to note that you are personally responsible for covering all health-related expenses during your stay in Australia. Australia’s national health scheme, Medicare, does not provide coverage unless your country has a reciprocal health care agreement with Australia.
Criminal Convictions for Visa Eligibility
Individuals with one or more criminal convictions totaling 12 months or more, whether served or not, will be ineligible for entry to Australia while holding an eVisitor. If you have any criminal conviction in any country, it might be more suitable for you to consider applying for a Visitor visa (subclass 600) rather than pursuing an eVisitor.
